Fresh slide hinders Siachen rescue

ISLAMABAD: A search and rescue operation continued at Gayari on Saturday even in extremely cold conditions and a fresh slide in the area. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the situation has been compounded by the mass of snow in which troops are working under low temperature, intermittent snowfall and piercing blizzards.
